Synopsis:
After the death of her longtime housemate and best friend, 94-year-old Eleanor Morgenstein (June Squibb) moves from Florida to New York to live with her daughter. Feeling isolated, she mistakenly joins a Holocaust survivors’ support group and begins telling her friend’s story as her own. This sets off a chain of personal, familial and ethical consequences involving a young journalism student, a news anchor father, and a community grappling with memory, identity and loss.
